Change of Plans for Today
Didn't go on Diamond Head hike today because it was raining when I got up and we had wanted to do that early before it gets hot.
Rain cleared up early and we drove up to North Shore where they have a lot of surfing because of the big waves (Bonzai Pipeline) and other beaches.;
We came across a surfing contest and we stopped to watch and got some good pics of surfers (some world class).
Haven't had a chance to prepare pics for posting and tomorrow we are going on a one day trip to Hawaii, (the Big Island) where Volcanos National Park is located (only active vocanos in Hawaiian Islands.).
Hope to see some lava flows. We get picked up at 5:30AM at our hotel and go to airport and fly out to Hawaii about 55min flight. Come back around 8:30 tomorrow nite.
Will have more pics from today and tomorrow to post either tomorrow nite or Tues sometime.
Corey - haven't been able to check fantasy league as I need to download Java stuff and haven't done that yet on Mom's laptop.
How am I doing. I saw that Steelers beat the Eagles!

That Steeler's - Eagle's game was incredible. I can't believe the way Pittsburg's been playing this year. This Roethlisberger kid is incredibly fun to watch. Lot of poise for a rookie.
You're leading the Buckeye's 55 to 32 right now, but your starters are all finished for the week. Ryan's still got Culpepper, Harrison and Vanderjagt on deck for tonight's game. If both Defenses have big games, you could hold on for the win, but I think it'll be tough given the way Culpepper and Harrison have both been performing most of the year.
Have a great time on the big island. Hope you see some lava flowing. Looking forward to more pictures.
Football Update: You managed to hold on for a tie. Funny thing about that is: the score is 55 - 55. If you remember, this was the same as the score the last time you played the Bucks. What are the chances of that? Only difference (as yet, at least)was the statistical correction which gave you a 55 - 54 win the middle of the next week.
Hope the trip to the Big Island was good.
Hi, it is me again. haven't caught up with Michael yet so here I am unknown again. I hope you are having a good day today. From what I have been seeing, Corey may be seeing Lava too. If he can see anything from where he is. Probably not. I keep thinking this mountain is so big they can all see it out there. Mt. St. Helen, I mean. Your view from hotel looks great.
